Julep Maven July & August Box

Hello everyone, sorry for not updating or posting anything for a while. I've been very busy but hopefully, I can upload more posts to share with you all :)

As you may already know, I am subscribed to the Julep Maven service. I have had no problems whatsoever while being subscribed and I just love receiving goodies in the mail each month!

Here are the nail products that I received for the previous months for the American Beauty box (pics taken from Julep blog page):

July:

Lynn: Nude blush pearl; haven't used this one yet

Yumi: Pink opalescent multi-dimensional glitter; LOVE this polish so much .. it applies so well and I'm so happy I got this one (fun fact: this polish is named after CEO Jane's daughter)!

America- The Beautiful: This amazing polish came for free in every single box! It's so festive and was perfect for the 4th of July; applies really nicely as well!

(also included in my box but not pictured: peony lip gloss)

August:

Dakota: beautiful rose-gold metallic chrome; I've been obsessing over rose-gold these days and I don't have any nail-polish close to this so it was nice to receive it

Stefani: gold-flecked grey metallic

This box also came with a cute little black reusable bag to celebrate Julep's 1st birthday and an acetone-free nail polish remover so I was happy about the little extras I got!

I was so excited about the metallic + chrome collection that came out this month! They apply so well and I could even get away with 1 coat. They dry relatively quickly so that's a plus. It was so hard for me to choose which box to get b/c all of the colors were so pretty.

I wasn't too excited about the last mystery box that I got but I gave in and ordered one. It was so hard to choose which box I wanted. Julep Maven June Mystery Box

My June mystery box has finally arrived! I received it within a week of ordering so I was SO happy to see the box in the mail! 

Here are my goodies for this month:

Nail-file, January, Amy, Gayle, Fast-drying Top Coat, SPF 15 Daylight Defenese Lip Balm in Vanilla Mint

Overall, I'm not disappointed! In my last box, I was sent only two polishes and a few other goodies but in this box, I'm glad I got four. The only polish I tried out so far from this box is the top coat. I liked it but it had this unpleasant scent.. but I feel like it does a good job in drying the polish quicker. I'm most excited for the Amy polish because it is SO pretty in real life :) 

That's all that I have to say about my June mystery box!

Today, I received an e-mail saying that Julep Maven has debuted with a new nail color America - The Beautiful. They are having this amazing special where they'll include this new polish in your July box. It is SO pretty .. it's red with blue/silver sparkles and silver stars!

Julep Maven American Beauty Intro Box

Over the past month, I've been researching beauty boxes to subscribe to and I found out about Julep Maven!  It is a monthly subscription ($19.99 every month) filled with goodies and is strictly all-nails related, unlike other beauty boxes!

I'll try and post swatches and reviews on it later but for now, here is what I got in my American Beauty intro-box!

Overall, I think it is great to at least try out. All you have to do is take the style-quiz to see which style you are and they hand-pick products that best suit you! And if you're commitment-shy, you can always opt out for the month or cancel your subscription anytime!
